Situated on 7.5 acres on the southeast quadrant of the Westbank Expressway and Manhattan Boulevard in Jefferson Parish, Manhattan West consists of 77,000 square feet of retail space, with the ability to add an additional 20,000 square feet. Lauricella Land Company acquired Midtown Square, located on Gause Boulevard just off I-10 in Slidell, Louisiana, in 1996. At that time, Midtown Square was a deteriorated and underperforming retail center. Immediately following acquisition, Lauricella Land began redevelopment and new leasing efforts. In August 1997, the renovated and re-tenanted Midtown Square Shopping Center was unveiled with 150,000 square feet of retail space.

Midtown's tenant anchors are Hobby Lobby, Office Depot, Stage, Harbor Freight, and Burke's Outlet, with total center occupancy consistently over 95%.

Constructed in 1955 by John Lauricella & Sons, Airline Park Shopping Center remains an asset of Lauricella Land Company today. Positioned across from Zephyr Field, Lafreniere Park, and the New Orleans Saints/Pelicans training facility in Metairie, the 69,000 square foot retail center has been a consistent performing asset for years and is a sentimental favorite.  Autozone, Save a Lot, McCoy's Goodyear Tire, Family Dollar, and Dot's Diner are the center’s long-term anchors.




Lakeview Village

Lakeview Village is located in South Central Mississippi at the major intersection of I-10 and I-110, four miles from Keesler Air Force Base. Keesler, which contributes an annual economic impact to the Gulf Coast of $1.1 billion, is the largest employer in the region and the training base for 40,000 military and medical support staff annually. The nearby Biloxi Casino District is home to 11 casinos and over 19,000 hotel rooms.

The gaming industry has added more than 23,000 jobs in the past four years, attracting an additional 3.5 million visitors annually to the market. Lakeview Village draws both area residents as well as millions of visitors.

 - Under Development - Acquired in December 2013, Manhattan Crossing involves the redevelopment of a deteriorated 121,000 square foot single-tenant retail building situated on 12+ acres. The property rests in the center of New Orleans’ Westbank, on Manhattan Boulevard at the corner of Lapalco, close to the Westbank’s highest density of mid- and upper-income homes. 

Upon renovation, the existing building will house three to four national retailers, and two free-standing out-parcels will be added along Manhattan Boulevard.

An eyesore since Hurricane Katrina in “A+” real estate, Manhattan Crossing not only demonstrates Lauricella Land Company's ability to reposition a non-performing asset, but also its capacity to invest in the renewal of depressed, quality real estate. Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2014, and the center’s current anchor is Hobby Lobby.

(Formerly Lake Forest Plaza) - Under Development - Lauricella Land Company was retained to assist the owners with redevelopment a 70-acre tract of the former Lake Forest Plaza Mall in East New Orleans on Read Boulevard between I-10 and Lake Forest Boulevard. Plans are underway to build a regional power center consisting of over 750,000 square feet. Construction is anticipated to start in 2015.

Lauricella Land constructed two 60,000 square foot office buildings in Elmwood Office Park, consisting of 850 South Clearview Parkway and 900 Commerce Road East.  The "900 Building" opened in 1977, while the "850 Building" opened a year later. The buildings have been 100% leased since 1986, and they remain a critical component of the Lauricella Land Company portfolio.

The Elmwood Self Storage facility was developed by Lauricella Land in 2003, when it converted a 100,000 square foot retail/warehouse facility into a state-of-the-art 200,000+ square foot self storage facility complete with climate-controlled storage, document and record storage, high security vault storage, wine storage, and a business center. There is a total of 10,400 square feet of retail space fronting Mounes Street. Elmwood Self Storage was awarded the "Facility of the Year" in 2004 by Mini-Storage Messenger, the most respected international trade magazine for self storage operators, owners, developers, and investors. The facility sits adjacent to the Elmwood Center.
