Lauricella Land Company’s predecessor, John L. Lauricella and Sons, was founded by John L. Lauricella, Sr. almost sixty years ago.
From the 1940’s to the early 1970’s, his focus was on residential development, but he completed his first commercial development, Airline Park Shopping Center, to accommodate one of his larger residential subdivisions.
John’s two sons, John Jr. and Hank, joined the business in the 1950’s and directed the company further to the commercial end. The 1970’s witnessed the transformation of the Lauricella Land Company into primarily a commercial development company with the development of Lauricella Land’s significant holdings in the Elmwood area of New Orleans.
The company’s success with its Elmwood projects created a wealth of opportunities and catapulted Lauricella Land to its present position as one of New Orleans’ most dominant and diverse commercial real estate development firms. |
